Dinner with my wife and my best friend in town for a week. Took a chance after reading the reviews and very happy we did. Open late with great food and live entertainment. Flounder sandwiches were huge and great tasting. Great service, outstanding live music and good food. Add some cold adult beverages and a killer view a great date night
Large Party bar on the intercostal. Great vibe of friendly folks, live music, motorcycles and so much seating. Entrance is to the left. Walk in go past the first bar and hit the second bar where all the action is. Find a seat anywhere you would like. No reservations just butts in seats and service will come your way. Drinks are strong and they encourage hanging out and not rushing your meal. So many outdoor dining seats and there’s a bunch of tables on the intercostal but the tables are the street from the restaurant. Our server mariah was fast and just a great server.
Fish bites were impressively well cooked considering it's a bit of a open air bar while they renovate. Little bit of an older crowd and lots of bikes. Everyone was friendly and had a good time talking to everyone at the table. Service was good especially considering it was a packed house. The live music was fun. It's a relaxed ice house type environment. It got a little younger and more crowded as the night went on.
My hubby and I love pork chop Thursdays, taco Tuesdays and just hanging out at Captain Archie's! Great food, good music, and great staff! Want to send out special kudos to Jennifer and Dana, two special ladies that go above and beyond to ensure a great dining experience in their professionalism; both are very courteous,super friendly with great smiles and go the extra mile to make sure everything is good and enjoyable about our visits! It sure keeps us coming back!! Also love the new renovations that have been already been done and more that are in progress! Keep up the good job Capt Archie's!
My husband and I enjoyed the atmosphere. We wanted to find somewhere with live music and seafood. This was the place! It was seat yourself (and quite busy due to Bike Week). But we were greeted immediately by our waitress and the food came out quickly. Both of us had the seafood combo and it did not let us down. Im glad we gambled on this place. The mixed reviews had me apprehensive. I definitely recommend if you are looking for something out of the ordinary.
My girlfriend and I had a wonderful experience. There was a mix-up with my order, and my mushroom and Swiss came out 25 minutes after her meal. But they were very accommodating and made things right. But in those 25 minutes, the atmosphere made up for anything gone wrong with the food. I will definitely be back.
We are locals and came on a Monday night! Had a great time! Music was great and the drinks!! Highly recommend!
